Propelling people and organizations forward
Our work is firmly grounded in philosophies that promote self-discovery, collaboration, innovation, and advocacy. Our approach creates alignment between people and process, develops leadership capacity, and results in people and organizations with greater potential to attain their goals.
We have over 30 years of experience working in human services, developing people, and nonprofit consulting. The result is a team of skilled and passionate advocates that support individuals and organizations to achieve their highest potential.
For us, it is all about uplifting people and implementing process.
We are committed to eliciting our customer’s experiences and consistently evaluate our impact on the people we work with.
We approach our work by looking for strengths. We are learning together and acknowledge that mistakes can lead to greater growth.
We work in harmony with others to build community. We do this because we see the benefits of aligning our efforts and individual capabilities.
I have over 30 years of experience working with people and nonprofits in leadership and consulting capacities. My background serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities has taught me the value of assessing situations from both a systems and human perspective. Over the years, I have developed an instinctive capacity to identify individual and organizational strengths and then equip people – individuals, leaders, and teams – with tools, and processes that help them achieve their goals.
My background in business management, administration, and financial planning is backed by years of hands-on experience, including leading one of Sonoma County’s largest transportation services for individuals with disabilities. Raised in a family business, I gained early insight into operations, customer service, and strategic decision-making. I’m passionate about helping teams work more efficiently, with a strong focus on financial stewardship, operational leadership, and sustainable growth. I’m committed to advancing alift’s mission through sound business practices and collaborative leadership.
I am a people centered professional with over 20 years of experience in leadership and people development roles. My background has taught me that people are the most important part of any organization and I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals to live a better life. I absolutely love creating person centered plans and helping people through the self determination process. It is an empowering process that highlights strengths and abilities and I am honored to be part of the journey towards a self determined life.
As an organizational psychologist, my expertise spans employee selection, training, performance management, and organizational development, aimed at enhancing employee well-being and organizational effectiveness. My background in behavior and experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brings unique insights to improving workplace dynamics and productivity by identifying individual strengths and developing positive support systems. Leveraging my diverse experience, I help clients implement tailored solutions that foster program improvement, client rights, and inclusive policies.
My lifelong proximity to persons with developmental differences has had a profound effect on who I am as an individual and who I align myself with professionally. I am pleased to be applying my knowledge and experience of advocacy, outreach, and community partnerships with alift. It’s my privilege to be of service in guiding others to their best selves and improved quality of life.
